Price and quality must be right, of course. But almost equally important is it to provide prompt and competent service.
These are the words of Jacob Bylov, head of isoplus’ large service department. Among the department’s main tasks is the installation of joints and alarm systems.
Since Jacob Bylov started at isoplus well over 10 years ago, the department has grown from counting only a handful of employees to currently 25 fitters and three alarm engineers.
This reflects how much isoplus Piping Systems has grown. It also shows that service, delivery time, flexibility, etc. have become more and more important parameters when a customer is to choose a supplier, enter into framework contracts, etc.
Time is money
- Progress is important, and focus on this has increased. The building of the new subway in Copenhagen has intensified awareness of carrying out excavation and construction work as fast as possible. To the citizens it does not matter what is being installed, district heating mains or power cables, or whether a new subway is being built. To them it is, naturally, just roadwork that impedes the traffic, says the installation manager.
Therefore, we earn lots of goodwill from the customers when isoplus’ fitters arrive on location quickly and do their job in short time.
- Solving problems and being quick on site will often accelerate the process and thereby allowing others to observe their excavation plans and deadlines and, of course, this is very much appreciated, says Jacob Bylov.
Customized branch solutions are one of the department’s “specialties”, a field in which we are very strong. New house entry pipes are extruder welded and can often be covered the following day already.
Best service in our line of business
- We value flexibility and short response times highly. It is our ambition to do things a little better than our customers expect, says Jacob Bylov.
He adds that the fitters are continually participating in certifications and further training. The department also employs in-house instructors who ensure that everybody is professionally at the forefront.
- It is important that we always deliver a product that is made in a professional manner and that can be operational for many years to come, the installation manager concludes – and he is not afraid to mention that his team delivers the best service available in their line of business.
